Hi Babes!

I am assuming you all want to know the inside scoop on why and how we started this business. If you want to find out how, take a seat and enjoy the show (aka keep scrolling pls).

Humble beginnings

Clarisa and I (Jenna) have been besties/sisters our entire lives. During June of 2020, Covid was going on, we both felt very restless and disconnected from the world. We decided to start this business in an attempt to feel like we were working on something bigger than us. Plus, it was a great excuse for our creative juices to flow!

Poppin' Off?

We definitely didn’t do great from the start, but with the love and support of our community we were able to get our small business going! We began with local sales and an online etsy store. The fact that people supported us even then is truly mind-blowing.

Our customers and supporters are what truly make this business possible. Without you and your constant support, we would have never made it 3 1/2 years!! We are so grateful for your likes, comments, follows, and everyone who shows up to our events! Connecting with everyone has been our favorite aspect of this business.

First craft show ever!

Our first craft show was at the Davison Farmers Market (July 11, 2020). To say it was underwhelming wouldn’t cover it. We had very little sales and truly made us question what our business looked like going forward.However, we realized that the only way to improve is to keep trying. Moving forward we’ve had some great and some not so great shows but they truly are, our favorite way to interact with each and every one of you.

Favorite Event

One of our absolute favorite events we do is Flint Pride. It is such an open and loving environment, making it all the more fun to sell our products! We look forward to seeing everyone again this year (Saturday, June 29)!!

Awakening

Although we’ve both loved art our whole lives, Clarisa has always been on a different scale. She got her degree in Graphic Design in 2022 from GVSU. She’s been making art since she was little, and ultimately the start of this business can only be accredited to her amazing talent and skill. Jenna has her capabilities with art herself but is currently in school for business. We decided to combine our love for art and our love for each other to start this journey. We wanted to find a way to spread love and positivity while also being artistic and unique, that’s why we are honored to state we are a queer, sister + women owned, college student-ran business.

Ultimate Goal

The ultimate goal is to open up our own boutique & bookstore!! Obviously this is way down the line, but at the moment it is a nice dream to think of! We hope that later on when we open a shop we can have your continued support!

In the end, we want to be able to support ourselves solely with this business. It's where our passions exist and it would be a dream come true to do this full-time!
